I only just unboxed and tried my smoking gun for the first time tonight so I have not had an extensive amount of experience yet but am incredibly pleased with my first experience. All instructions were easy to follow and using the smoking gun was very simple. I used only a small pinch of cherry wood to smoke some bourbon which I served neat and compared it to a second glass that was unsmoked. The smoking gun produced thick plumes of aromatic smoke almost immediately and my smoked bourbon not only had a nice smoky flavor and aroma but a softer more velvety mouth feel. The device was easy to disassemble and clean and I especially love that the manufacturer has a website where additional parts can be purchased and questions can be asked in the event some type of support is needed. I love that the one I bought came with a dome lid and a disk lid. I highly recommend getting these two other items which are not included with many other smokers. I can't wait to try it on meats and cheese next. Very pleased so far.

This product did not disappoint! We have used it on cocktails and salmon and the smoke flavor is fantastic. There is very little "burnt" taste compared to other smokers and it requires less wood chips for good flavor. The dome is plastic and after a few uses it has a few scratches on it but nothing major and it is safer than glass. The trigger function is nice because it stays on until you pull it again which means you dont have to squeeze it the whole time. Definitely recommend this!

I had never used one of these, but it was very easy to do. It made great smoke and did exactly what I wanted it to do. I am glad I got the extended kit because I really wanted the dome so I didn't have to try to use plastic wrap. Just make sure you are putting it down on an even surface. Definitely seems like a great product and I look forward to using it more often!

Works terrific for cold smoking meats, cheeses or cocktails. It is stable once in the holder. It generates a lot of smoke in a short period. It does require small wood tinder, I recommend using a long stick butane lighter to light the tinder. You do have to stay on top of cleaning it because it will generate a good amount of residue and its sticky. I used Simple Green on all the non-porous parts.

Produces an impressive amount of smoke with very few chips. Multiple flavors of chips came with the kit. The only issue is that the dome cover doesn't have a rubber lip or anything to seal the smoke in...it leaks right out...but it still worked to smoke a cocktail, I'd just use it outdoors next time!

I just received this as an anniversary gift and I love it! I used it today to give a smoky flavor to the ribeye I used for stuffed peppers. I usually cook with charcoal but since I am pretty busy today I decided to cook inside and "smoke" it with my smoking gun. Loaded in some woodchips, started it up and struck a match. Within seconds my food was enveloped in smoke! Super easy to use and the results are even better than I expected! I love it! There will be a lot more smoky dishes being prepared by me!

Tiny machine packs a big punch
Produces an impressive amount of smoke with very few chips. Multiple flavors of chips came with the kit. The only issue is that the dome cover doesn't have a rubber lip or anything to seal the smoke in...it leaks right out...but it still worked to smoke a cocktail, I'd just use it outdoors next time!

Easy to use and understand.
I just received this as an anniversary gift and I love it! I used it today to give a smoky flavor to the ribeye I used for stuffed peppers. I usually cook with charcoal but since I am pretty busy today I decided to cook inside and "smoke" it with my smoking gun. Loaded in some woodchips, started it up and struck a match. Within seconds my food was enveloped in smoke! Super easy to use and the results are even better than I expected! I love it! There will be a lot more smoky dishes being prepared by me!
