Before giving you these magical recipe we must prepare you! Here’s how you smoke with Fuma:
Instructions:
- Assemble all the parts as per manual.
- Connect hose to container provided and load the smoking chamber with 2 to 3 pinches of your choice of wood chips.
- Place burger inside lid or container provided.
- Turn on gun and light wood chips.
- Let thick smoke engolfe the burger and let it sit for 5 to 8 minutes.
- Lift the lid and enjoy!

Old Fashion Burger
Ingredients:
- 1 clove of minced garlic
- 1 tbsp of garlic powder
- 1 tsp of dried parsley
- 1 tsp of dried basil
- 1 tsp of dried oregano
- ½ tsp of crushed dried rosemary
- salt and pepper as per taste
- 1 tsp of soy sauce
- 1 tsp of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 (1 onz.) envelope dry onion soup mix
- 1 ½ a pounds lean ground beef
- ½ a finely chopped onion
- ½ a cup of shredded Colby Jack or Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
- Preheat the grill for high heat.
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, onion, cheese, soy sauce, worcestershire sauce, egg, onion soup mix, garlic, garlic powder, parsley, basil, oregano, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Form into 4 patties.
- Grill patties for 5 minutes per side on the hot grill, or until well done. Serve on buns with your favorite condiments.
- Smoke with hickory wood chips for 5 - 8 minutes.
Asian-Style Burger
Ingredients:
- 1 pound 85 percent lean ground beef
- 1 package McCormick Grill Mates Korean BBQ Marinade
- 2 cups coleslaw
- 2 tsp of rice vinegar
- 1 tsp of soy sauce
- 1 tsp of sesame oil
For Sweet Chili Lime Mayo:
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 3 tsp of Sweet Chili Sauce
- 1 tsp of lime juice
Instructions:
- In a medium sized bowl add the ground beef and korean bbq marinade. Mix until just combined being careful not to over mix. Shape into 4 patties.
- Preheat your grill and place your burgers. Turn them once and cook for about 8 minutes until cooked throughout.
Coleslaw:
- In a small bowl add the coleslaw, rice vinegar, soy sauce and sesame oil. Toss until combined.
Sweet chili lime mayo:
- In a small bowl add the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and lime juice. Mix until combined.
- Assemble the burgers place a bed of romaine on the bottom of the patty and top with sweet chili lime mayo and slaw. Enjoy!
- Smoke with applewood chips for 5 - 8 minutes.
Homemade Veggie Burger
Ingredients:
- ½ a cup of cooked pearl barley (cooled)
- ½ a cup cooked quinoa, (cooled)
- 1 (14 onz.) can of dried black beans
- 1 pound of chopped shiitake mushrooms (stems removed)
- 1 ½ a tsp of olive oil
- 1 chopped sweet onion
- 4 minced garlic cloves
- ½ a cup of chopped unsalted cashews
- 1 tsp of old fashioned oats
- ¼ of cup mayonnaise
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1 tsp of chili powder
- ½ tsp of honey
- ½ tsp of smoked paprika
- ½ a cup of freshly grated sharp cheddar cheese
- ¼ tsp of salt
- ¼ tsp of pepper
- canola, grapeseed or coconut oil for serving
- sliced sharp cheddar (or your favorite cheese) for serving
- 4 to 6 buns for serving
- lettuce, tomato, red onion or whatever toppings you prefer!
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. then spread the black beans and mushrooms on one sheet in a single layer.
- Add salt and pepper to the mushrooms.
- Roast the beans and mushrooms for 12 to 15 minutes, until the beans split open and the mushrooms cook down.
- Meanwhile, Heat a skillet over medium low heat, add olive oil, diced onion and garlic, cook until softened for about 5 to 6 minutes.
- Pulse the cashews and oats in the food processor until they are finely chopped.
- In a large bowl, stir together the mayo, egg yolk, chili powder, honey and smoked paprika. Stir in the sautéed onion mixture, cooked barley and quinoa, the beans and the mushrooms and dd in the oats and the cashews mix until just combined.
- Take 1/3 of the mixture and place it back in the food processor. Pulse it a few times until it’s all very finely chopped and combined. Then transfer it back to the large bowl. Stir in the cheddar cheese, salt and pepper in, mix until incorporated.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add canola oil.
- Once the oil is hot, add the patties and cook them for 5 to 6 minutes on each side. Be sure they don’t fall apart! add a slice of cheddar on top so it melts.
- Serve on buns with mayo, lettuce, tomato and red onion!
- Smoke with applewood chips for 5 - 8 minutes.
Slider Burgers
Ingredients:
4 slices bacon
1 finely chopped onion
2 minced garlic cloves
3 pounds lean ground beef
2 tsp of Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper as per taste
24 small dinner rolls (as needed)
Instructions:
- In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Remove bacon and drain on paper towels. Discard all but 2 tbsp. bacon fat.
- Cook onion in bacon fat until translucent for about 3 minutes, then add garlic and cook 30 seconds longer.
- Remove mixture from pan and let it cool. Chop bacon when cool enough to handle.
- In a large bowl combine beef, bacon, onion mixture, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper, and mix well. Form into small patties and chill.
- Preheat grill on medium and add oil when hot. Cook burgers for about 7 minutes for medium rare, turning once halfway through.
- Serve burgers on rolls.
- Smoke with hickory wood chips for 5 - 8 minutes.
Mushroom Lovers Burger
Ingredients:
Pickles:
- ½ a cup of white vinegar
- 1 tbsp of chopped fresh dill
- 1 tsp of kosher salt
- 1 medium English cucumber, cut into ⅛ inch-thick slices (about 2 ½ cups)
- 1 (8 onz.) stemmed container cremini mushrooms
- 4 onz. Stemmed white button mushrooms
- 1 tbsp of canola oil
- 1 cup of finely chopped onion
- 4 garlic minced cloves
- ½ tsp of kosher salt
- ¼ tsp of freshly divided ground black pepper
- 8 onz. of 90 percent lean ground sirloin
- Cooking spray
- 2 tbsp of canola mayonnaise
- 2 tsp of unsalted ketchup
- 1 tsp of Dijon mustard
- 4 (1 ½ onz.) whole wheat toasted hamburger buns
- 4 Bibb lettuce leaves
- 4 (¼ inch-thick) slices tomato
- 4 (¼ inch-thick) slices red onion
Instructions:
- To prepare pickles, combine vinegar, dill, salt, and cucumber in a large zip-top plastic bag or jar and seal. Turn bag until ingredients are well combined. Refrigerate at least 1 hour, turning bag or shaking jar occasionally.
- Next, place crimini and button mushrooms in a food processor; pulse 4 to 5 times or until chopped.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add oil and swirl to coat. Add onion and garlic; sauté for 3 minutes. Add mushrooms, ¼ tsp of salt, and ⅛ tsp of pepper to pan. Cook 7 to 10 minutes or until liquid evaporates, stirring occasionally. Remove and let it cool.
- Place beef in a bowl. Add mushroom mixture to beef and stir just until combined. Refrigerate for 10 minutes. Then, shape beef mixture into 4 (½ inch-thick) patties. Sprinkle evenly with remaining ¼ tsp salt and remaining ⅛ tsp of pepper.
- Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Coat pan with cooking spray. Add patties to pan and cook for 2 minutes on each side or until desired degree (medium rare, medium well or well done).
- Combine mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard in a small bowl, stirring with a whisk. Spread mayonnaise mixture evenly over bottom and top halves of buns.
- Place 4 pickle slices on bottom half of each bun (reserve remaining pickles for another use). Top evenly with patties, lettuce, tomato, onion, and top halves of buns.
- Smoke with applewood chips for 5 - 8 minutes.
Bacon Lovers Burger
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ pounds of ground beef
- ½ a cup of finely chopped onion
- 2 slices of finely chopped bacon
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 ¼ a cup of breadcrumbs (fresh or soft)
- 1 large egg
- ½ tsp of salt
- ¼ tsp of ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp of all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp of vegetable oil
- Instructions:
- Combine ground beef, onion, bacon, Worcestershire sauce, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix with hands until just combined.
- Shape the ground beef mixture into 4 to 6 patties and dust them lightly with the flour.
- Heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the burgers for 7 to 10 minutes on each side, or until cooked to desired desired degree (medium rare, medium well or well done).
- Smoke with hickory wood chips for 5 - 8 minutes.
Spinach Feta Turkey Burgers
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of chopped fresh spinach
- 1 minced clove garlic
- ½ a grated yellow onion
- 1 tsp of dried oregano
- ½ tsp of Kosher salt
- ¼ tsp of ground black pepper
- ¼ pound of feta crumbles
- 1 pound of ground turkey
- 4 hamburger buns
- green leaf lettuce
- 1 sliced tomato
- ½ a cup of Greek yogurt
- ½ a juiced lemon
- ¼ tsp of kosher salt
- 2 pinches ground black pepper
Instructions:
- Mix the spinach, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, feta and turkey together in a bowl until just combined.
- Shape into 4 patties, 1-inch thick.
- Heat a heavy skillet or cast iron skillet on pan to medium-high.
- Add the patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side. Do not keep flipping them over.
- Toast the hamburger buns lightly.
- Mix the yogurt, lemon, salt and pepper in a bowl and add to the buns.
- Top with lettuce, onion and the turkey patty.
- Smoke with applewood chips for 5 - 8 minutes.
Black Bean Burger
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of black beans, drained and mashed with a fork
- 1 cup of seasoned bread crumbs
- ¼ a cup of grated onions
- ½ tsp of chili powder
- 1 egg
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- Canola oil
- 1 to 2 kaiser rolls
- Arugula, for serving
- Sliced tomatoes, for serving
Instructions:
- Mix together the beans, breadcrumbs, onions, chili powder, egg and some salt and pepper in a medium bowl. Form the mixture into 1 big (or 2 smaller) patties.
- Preheat a grill pan over medium-high heat and add some canola oil. Cook the burger 4 minutes per side. Serve on a kaiser roll with arugula, tomato slices and mayo.
- Smoke with applewood chips for 5 - 8 minutes.
Salmon Burger
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp. of Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp of red pepper flakes
- Kosher salt and freshly grounded pepper, as per taste
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
- Hamburger buns, for serving
- Mayonnaise, for serving
- Romaine, for serving
- Tomato, for serving Red onion, for serving
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine salmon with egg, bread crumbs, garlic, lemon zest and juice, dill, dijon, Worcestershire and red pepper flakes.
- Season with salt and pepper and stir until just combined. Form into three to four patties.
- In a large skillet, heat oil. Add patties and cook until golden, about 4 minutes on each side.
- Serve patties on buns with mayonnaise, romaine, tomatoes, and onions.
- Smoke with applewood chips for 5 - 8 minutes.
